A. I am not sure that it will help or not,but try in any linux OS.First try to delete,if that won't possible, then go for formatting.
You can format the pen drive by using DOS also.
1.Open the DOS prompt (Start >> Run >> cmd)
2.Type:FORMAT X: /FS:FAT32 /Q /V:PenDrive
This will reformat the Pen drive, using the FAT32 file system, and label the drive PenDrive.
3. Replace X: with the actual drive letter of your Pen Drive.
4.For more help on this command, type:
FORMAT /?
at the command prompt.

can i put an iso file onto a usb device to put an os on my ps3?
Q. i want an operating system on my ps3, so i downloaded ubuntu for my ps3. its an .iso file, and i dont have a cd burner, so is it possible to put it on a usb and still use it to make an os with? if not, is there a converter i can use to convert the .iso into a different file to put on a usb device?
A. If you are using Ubuntu do a "man mount" in a terminal. Man is the standard unix documentation engine which we Linux users heisted from them and I believe Ubuntu has it still I think the command for getting at the contents of an ISO file would go something like this:
mkdir isofile
sudo mount <filename>.iso -o loop isofile
Once you have done that you issue a cp -rfva isofile <your usbdevice>.
You might also look up dd and see if you can use that to get everything over to the device.
I don't know Windoze so if you don't have an Ubuntu disk go to the local big box store and ask for either Hacking Knoppix or an o'reilly book I believe is called Knoppix hacks. You buy it, it comes with a knoppix cd in the back, set your computer to boot from the cd, boot it, and you can follow the commands I listed above after you mount your harddrive and cd in a terminal to the directory you keep your iso file in. And when you are finished playing with Knoppix (which I recommend, shut it down or reboot, it will demand you take the knoppix disk out of the drive before it does either, and when it boots up again even if you did NOT reset your boot order it should boot up to Windows and not remember anything you did while you were knoppix because livecds are neat that way.
I honestly don't know if this will work, though because I don't know if PS3's even boot from USBs.
Have fun, though.

What is the best pc program for recording a guitar?
Q. I have a usb guitar jak I just need a program to record.
A. Ardour is a DAW software similar to ProTools and is completely free. This is what I use.
There's also Audacity, which also does multi-track recording and is perfectly fine for basic recording/editing, but lacks certain features suitable for professional recording/production work, particularly time-sync.
If you decide to go the full recording studio route, you will most likely want to run Linux or Mac, which is currently all that Ardour will run on. Windows isn't that great for low latency applications, besides the other issues it has with being generally unreliable and such. Who wants their entire project they just spent hours on destroyed by some windows virus or the BSOD?
